The Illinois CPA Society is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-19 academic year. More than 30 individual tuition and textbook scholarships are available to students who demonstrate hard work, academic achievements, and financial need. The Society encourages college students to apply who have plans to pursue the CPA licensure and demonstrate a course of study that reflects this goal.

Last year, the Society awarded $62,000 in tuition and textbook scholarships to 33 accounting students. These scholarships directly benefited diverse and deserving future CPAs who attend colleges and universities across the state.

Available scholarships include:

  • Accounting Tuition and Textbook Scholarships: Multiple tuition scholarships up to $4,000 each are available. Multiple textbook scholarships of up to $500 each are available. Applicants must be enrolled as a senior or graduate student.
  • Herman J. Neal Accounting Scholarships: Multiple scholarships of up to $4,000 each are available to African-American students enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
